June 2026, China Tour exclusive. The KAI 3 “Kaifeng” (凯风) isn’t a regular colorway — it was made specifically for Kyrie Irving’s 2026 visit to China, and that’s the only place it came from. The design pulls from a line in an ancient Chinese poem about a warm southern wind: kite framework lines stitched across the upper, sun-and-moon tribal patterns pressed into the outsole, Irving’s name in Chinese characters on the tongue. Visually, it’s a long way from the usual KAI releases. Performance-wise, it’s the same shoe WearTesters called one of the best-fitting Kyrie shoes ever — full-length Nitro foam, carbon midfoot shank, outsole edges that wrap so far up the sides they grip at angles most shoes can’t manage.
